advice for alpha gam? :)

by:

So I decided to check out Alpha Gam and it seems awesome! I'm pretty sure I'm ready to go through the interview process to join. The girls are nice, cute, & down-to-earth. I'm really excited to start forming a sisterhood with them!

So! What are tips for us as a new sorority? How can we be welcomed into the Greek community? As already-active members of the Greek community, what can we do to establish ourselves?

Good for you! Listen to the AGDs who are here to help you colonize-- they're the pros. But as a member of a USC house, welcome. I would recommend reaching out to the Row by doing deliveries, attending philanthropies, etc. -- elect a good social chairman and get some fun exchanges scheduled and sisterhood events with other sororities! Despite what you may read on here, the Row is very cohesive. I think people take on an evil personality when they can be anonymous! Panhellenic Love!

So glad you're joining/seriously considering alpha gam! Their recruitment people seem so nice and awesome!

As far as establishing yourselves for now just focus on having fun and getting to know people! Things will fall into place once it all gets rolling. Also you luckily don't have to sweat it as far as a physical establishment - I heard the alpha gam alum are putting nearly $5 million into the renovation so you're gonna have one of the nicest houses on the row!

Enjoy it & welcome to the Greek community! :)
