top tier doesn't matter
by: ...I understand a lot of people care about being in a Top house. But really, especially for guys, it's kind of stupid. The top frats literally change every 4-5 years. When my bro was at USC in '04-'05 Pike was the top house. No one cared about Phi Psi and Sigma Chi was a shell of what it is now. Then, Pike got kicked off for 5 years and lost its status. That allowed Phi Psi to rise to the top tier. Therefore, the "Top" house you may be in now could get kicked off in like a year or two, so don't sweat it. The top houses change all the time. Just focus on having fun while you're at USC and don't worry about the labels.

Why does every thread have to turn into a sorority ranking argument???? It's simple, girls, 1000 girls go through rush and 700 (approx) pledge. 700 girls cannot all be in the same 3 or 4 houses! SOOO they end up in 1 of 10 houses and hopefully will embrace that house and never look back. If a guy has an attitude about the house you're in, he's not worth it!
