missed out on pike bid

I rushed Pike hard this fall and they told me I wasn't right for the house just yet. They suggested that I lift some weights and improve my appearance and come back in the spring. I am I being bulls-hitted or is this for real? Should I take the open bid I have from Sigma Chi or just keep working on being a Pike?

It's actually a good sign they told you to come back in the spring. You actually have a chance to get a pike bid. Pike is very selective and they wouldn't blow smoke up your a_ss if you had no chance. Hey you can always go sigma chi as a second choice. It's not a terrible house.

lmao. That's funny. This is obviously a troll post. First off, the pledge process is well underway, so you probably can't just "hop in" and join Sigma Chi now. Secondly, I doubt anyone is gonna choose Pike over Sigma Chi.

Sigma Chi is an empty shell of a frat. They only have a name and history at SC at this point. Pike is the future of SC fraternities.
