Sorority Recruitment Dates

Hey, I just got accepted to the class of 2024 and I was confused about the dates of the sorority recruitment process? When is sorority recruitment. And I mean formal recruitment for incoming freshman? I keep seeing different dates. Some say August but I also have seen that there is no formal Fall recruitment and recruitment is in the spring. Is that true? Any help would be appreciated.

Formal recruitment is in the spring and informal is in the fall. Freshman have to wait to rush until the spring and go through formal recruitment. It’s usually in January, the first week back from winter break and split over 2 weekends.
