greek insider tumblr sorority ranking spring 2020
by: GreekInsiderTumblr
1. DG climbs to the top spot after Kappa’s lackluster spring semester, although just by a hair. DG continues to solidify their reputation as the house with some of the most fun and attractive girls. While competition is stiff from other top houses, expect DG to remain top two for the foreseeable future.
2. Kappa slipped down to a comfortable number two after having some retention issues this spring. While their reputation of being rich and attractive (the quintessential USC sorority) remains strong, they will have to have a strong showing next rush.
3. Pi Phi has begun to pull away from Theta with another great pledge class, but still have some work to do to climb into the top tier with DG and Kappa. If Pi Phi can continue to distance themselves from Theta, they could enter the top two in the next few semesters.
4. Although the gap between Theta and APhi is the largest on the list so far, Theta has been undeniably on the decline. They have consistently lost their best recruits to higher ranked houses, causing their recent pledge classes to lose quality. Expect them to remain at a solid #4 unless APhi dramatically improves.
5. Alpha Phi is in a tier of their own, with a large distance between houses above and below. Going to homecoming with ZBT also did them no favors in improving their standing. Expect them to hold at #5 for the foreseeable future.
6. Tri Delt’s have been relatively consistent for a long time. Although their fraternity relations are solid (especially for their ranking), going with Phi Delt to homecoming further muddied their position on the row. Tri Delt should work on improving pledge class quality.
7. ADPi was floundering for some time, but have turned it around the past two semesters with solid pledge classes and improved fraternity relations. They have a ways to go to close the gap with Tri Delt, but things are looking up.
8. It seems GPhi has been “on the verge” of passing ADPi for a few semesters, but those rumors never come to fruition. Their enthusiasm makes them popular amongst lower fraternities, but they will have to bring more to the table.
9. AXO had a surprisingly solid pledge class this semester, but they will secure better fraternity relations with mid-tier fraternities to put pressure on GPhi.
10. With a dwindling membership, concerns over AGD’s longevity on the row are very real. They will need big changes to compete with AXO.
