dropped by everything except the "bottom 3" houses
by: RusheeI am currently a freshman who is in the process of rushing. After round 1, I only got called back to three houses (DTD, Chi Phi, Phi Tau), none of which were in my top eight choices. I feel like I had meaningful conversations in the other houses and even knew some of the brothers before I rushed. I was really shocked to see that all of my top choices had dropped me. Are there any other freshmen in similar situations? Is it best to continue with the rush process or just drop at this point? Any tips on how to improve if I decide to rush next semester?

Kid, if you are determining your rush based off house rankings, then you got it all wrong. Rankings don't really matter once you are in a house. What matters is your experience in that house. You're part of the problem we have and Greek life would be better moving away from that mentality.
