new rankings?
by: HmmSo some went up, some went down....did any rankings change, what is the new agreed-upon list, and what is the new list in your opinion?

Kappa definitely solidified its top spot after last year's tragedy giving away snap bids, followed by:
DG, because they went down this pledge class. I think its unanimous that DG didn't do as well as last year.
Theta is always at 3rd, bc they never really change up or down. Their girls are always the same type of girls, year by year! Still a fantastic house
Alpha Phi takes the 4th spot, not because they got a great pledge class (they did OKAY in comparison to last year...), but by default since Pi Phi did terribly this year around.
Pi Phi is 5th this year because of the downwards trend. They have a few cute girls, but overall, same as last year, plain, basic type girls that could be in GPhi
Tri Delta I feel did on par with Pi Phi this rush season. They got a great pledge class considering last year's, and they got really great girls!!
ADPi did okay... don't hear a lot about these girls
GPhi did good, good because its GPhi. They have normal looking girls, to cute girls!
AXO did its normal round. Don't have much to say bout this house!

agreed.. pi phi might even be lower than tridelt this year just based on the newest pledge classes

top tier in alpha order: DG, KAT, KKG
second tier in alpha order: AP, PBP
third tier in alpha order: ADPi, DDD, GPB
fourth tier in alpha order: AXO, SDT
We can debate the order in the tiers 24/7, so why bother? Unfortunately, I don't think the top 4 exists for now at USC!

OK has it right on this one. I think this year really marks the start of more of a four-tier system. Upper middle and lower middle are becoming more important.

In terms of pledge classes alone, here are the rankings
Kappa -- Only had up to go since they gave out snap bids last year
Theta -- literally everyone wants to be in this house and anyone who denies it is lyings
Pi Phi -- Solid pledge class
ADPi -- not a top house, but the PNMs loved them this year. Heard a lot of girls chose ADPi over top houses because they are so down to earth and have the best sisterhood
DG -- Down, even the actives will tell you that
APhi -- PNMs really didn't like this house this year because they could see through the fakeness
Tri delt -- another rando pledge class with some stunners and some weirdos, so pretty much stayed the same
GPhi -- same girls, same place

Theta is NOT everyone's favorite. Theta is generally the back-up house to DG and Kappa. Not a bad place to be, but def not #1.
DG had a great pledge class -- not as good as last year's, but still a fave.
Kappa got the most famous PNM, but other than her big name, I'd say they did on par. Def better than last year's snap bid fiasco.
Pi Phi did meh
Alpha Phi -- not a fan EVER
Agreed about ADPi though -- great rush this year. Def better than Tri Delt.
Gamma Phi definitely pulled ahead of AXO.

May be your personal opinion, but it definitely does not coincide with what most of the rest of us are thinking. In fact, a lot of what you're going at is the opposite.

People want to put down DG and Pi Phi to make their own houses have a better chance at the top. In reality DG got the pledges they wanted and was still a top pick and Pi Phi is still mixing with all the top frats and has the new sundeck they were showing off on house tours. Both houses are still in the top, even if tied with new houses that may be moving up. Anyone who says otherwise is just bashing on these houses in the hopes that they can make themselves look better.

at above -- unless you are on the recruitment team for every single sorority or Panhellenic, you have no way of knowing what pledge class anyone wanted. Please leave Pi Phi and DG alone and focus on your GDI activities.
