Been seeing a lot of questions like “do I need recs” or “can I get in as a transfer”. For sororities it is all who you know from frats or within the sorority. It doesn’t matter how many recs you have. If you’re a transfer especially spring, you don’t know anybody and you’re not getting a bid sorry

Not totally true but kinda. It’s a lot harder to get a bid as a transfer if you don’t know anyone, but it’s still possible so you should try

I can confirm this is true, if you are a transfer wait till next semester BUILD those connections and friendships and make it happen, even if you are drop dead gorgeous and have daddy’s money some top houses will still pick other girls they met during the fall out of not only loyalty but because they know them. TRUST me. it is definitely a disadvantage

Happened to my friend. She literally models and also wore nice brands not flashy but like you would know during rush. Got along with all her pnm class, but still dropped from the top two because she’s a transfer and doesnt know people.
