What should we expect?
1). Are there those odd door chants?
2). Loud music in the houses while you're talking?
3). Do they serve water/drinks or anything?
4). Does order you're dropped off at the door matter?
5). What's the one thing you wish you had/were glad you had in your bag during recruitment?
6). Any other (non-troll) advice for nervous pnms?

6. It’s way more stressful for actives than pnms so don’t be nervous! You aren’t expected to do anything except show up and be your best self. The actives and RCs will guide you through the whole process.

Just remember rush isn’t any indication of your worth. It’s just an indication of who your friends were or if some guy/girl thought you were funny when they talked to you for 20 seconds. Keep your head up and stay open minded. A lot of the people in the top houses are lame af anyway. Get sleep and have fun!

1. NO - There are no door chants - they were banned in 2015!
2. No music while you’re talking, but there will be music when you enter and exit the houses
3. They serve water but no food. Bring snacks!
4. Alphabetical on the way in, means absolutely nothing on the way out! It’s completely random where you sit, and whoever goes out first/last is just based on how far they are from the door for the most efficient exit
5. Oil blotting sheets, FLOSS, deodorant, way more snacks than you think you’ll need, tampons, water bottle!
6. Take a deep breath :) our recruitment is completely values based and the girls in the houses want to meet girls that are the best for their house. Every single chapter has wonderful girls and not so nice girls. It’s about finding the place that feels most like home. Try to ignore rankings and go with where your gut tells you is your place!
