Yes. Houses have an average GPA and compete for the #1 on the row. They actually do take GPA seriously.

3.0 is the typical minimum invite back GPA for creative majors and 2.8 for stem.

Do you think it's important to be in a top grades house if your GPA is very important to you? Like will there be more like-minded people in those houses, and does that make a difference?

I like to go out and have fun, but I'm also tryna get into a good school for grad school.

It’s definitely something to take into account! All the houses have social lives but some are more academically focused than others. Look into the GPAs of the houses on the Panhellenic website :) Additionally, some houses are composed of more STEM majors than others, if you’re interested in that! Ask about that during recruitment, the girls in more STEM-oriented houses know and are generally excited to talk about it!
