rec letter importance

How important are rec letters for rushing a sorority as a sophomore transfer?

I got 3-4 for each house. My mom was in a sorority and she's written so many recs for her friends kids that it was her turn to ask everyone she knows.

3-4 might not be enough. You should shoot for at least 6

Ignore that person^ they mean almost nothing here. They definitely are important at other schools but they probably won’t do anything here

are you sure? bc i have like none lol none of my family did greek life besides my dad so i don’t want that to hurt my chances a lot
