Hi i’m a junior transfer and i was wondering what happens during recruitment? because I don’t know anyone and I don’t want to be the only girl standing by herself. Any advice?

Don't worry, a lot of people during the fall deferred rush are in the same boat, a lot of transfers. You will probably make friends with other rushees right away!

Formal recruitment isn’t until spring now so you’ll have plenty of time to adjust to SC and make friends both in and out of Greek Life. Plenty of juniors rush, especially since we have such a large amount of transfers.

I recommend rushing in the fall because 1. It’s more chill than spring now 2. No freshmen in your pledge class 3. You’re already a junior so you probably wanna spend as much time in your sorority as you can

Rush in the fall if youre not a freshman! Being in a pledge class with mostly freshmen is fine but you probably want to be with other sophomores and juniors. I don't really know how fall recruitment is gonna work this year but its informal so it'll be a lot less stressful and tiring.
