transferring as a junior

by: ask

Is it worth going through pledgeships? Are people just going to go to the clubs and bars since they're 21?

Well if your not in a top tier fraternity or a GDI you will be forever waiting or the bouncer will never let you in to top nightclubs like Viper Room, Bootsies, Mayan. Top fraternities like Lambda Chi and Sigma Chi have an open-door policy and get the royal treatment from the management

How competitive is it to get a bid from those two fraternities?

EKid those clubs don’t allow GDI like you. To not embarass gapers like you bouncers will routinely tell you they are closed.

Yes definitely! I did it and so do many others. although you may be a junior, you can take advantage of the less competitive rush process during this fall with deferred rush and it's worth the next 1.5 years of being an active in one of the best greek life systems in the country.

I'm transferring from a school in the midwest, I dropped out of pledgeships because it was very brutal I couldn't stand it. From 1 to 10, 10 being have to be availible 24/7, make you drink while they do violent stuff, whats the hazing rating of USC?
