rush week is like game of thrones

I thought that it would funny, and possibly enlightening, to compare two series of events to one another:
1: RUSH week v.
2: Game of Thrones

One series of events involves everyone making alliances with others, but it is a stressful time in which everyone know that everyone is really looking our for themselves as #1. All participants feel that the series of events is a life or death situation and that their future depends only on winning at all costs.
There is a lot of mental manipulation and exploitation by the powerful against people deemed weaker. There is a lot of backstabbing, trickery, mourning and celebrating, as well as a whole spectrum of other intense emotions, as all competitors are vying for the same position.

The other series of events is called Game of Thrones.
