can sororities see if you're on financial aid?
by: anonDuring rush, are there ways which sororities can find out if you're on financial aid? And how much does wealth play into rush at USC anyway?

The houses specifically do not have access to the records, but many well-ran houses have members who work in the financial office who have access to those records. Yes they will look at your SAT scores. Most top houses will not consider girls who scored under 700 on the verbal section.

The SAT scores you put on your rush app, or do they find the one you used in your common app? I'm not worried, I got 700+ in each section, but I'm just wondering as to HOW MUCH access they have to all of my information. It's a little scary knowing they can find anything they want

It's just annoying because I'm not poor, I'm on financial aid because for the past few years my dad has been tying up our wealth in start-up company investment so we have less cash than usual but I mean I still act and spend like upper middle class so let's hope the Facebook-stalking of PNMs is more important than judging financial aid.... ugh

It matters, let's be honest, especially with houses such as Kappa.
