Why on earth would any guy WANT to join a low tier fraternity like Kappa Sigma, Chi Phi or Phi Tau?

well, it's true that the popular kids in HS are in the top frats. Sad that they and their girls care so much about continuing their top tier status and want to look down and make fun of others. What you don't realize is that people outside your groups don't think you are cool or want to be you. The likelihood that you will be working for someone you rank as lower tier frat one day s pretty high.

dude in my class was in my rush group and had a bid from lamda and went to a low tier frat. I personally would never, and I think he's braindead. But said he barely talked to anyone and thought he only got a bid cuz he was a tall blonde dude. Whereas other places got to know him and he thought they were less douche. Jokes on him they're all kinda douche.

That's not the point, I'd still choose being in even the lowest house over being a geed. But don't pretend for a second that:

Maybe they want to have fun with other people with similar interests? What’s it to you anyway? Why do you even care? Go enjoy your group and let others do the same. They don’t care what people like you think of them.
