by: :)In all honesty, how much does one's financial background matter when attending USC, more specifically in sorority rush? If a girl is a well-liked, pretty person, will she still not receive a bid if she's not insanely wealthy? Please be serious as this is something that will determine whether I go or not :)

As a girl in Theta, I can virtually guarantee you that we don't care about your wealth or even your looks. We DO care if you are a nice person and are sociable. Other sororities, like Kappa and Delta Gamma care mostly about looks and wealth (both are necessary prerequisites in those two houses.)
Theta is a top house nonetheless and we are probably the least superficial of the top 4 houses.
