is it frowned upon to re-rush?
by: Idk anymoreSo my current house I am rushing sucks and not to name names but they have yet to do anything social and I joined to be social. Went through 5 pledge educators before knowing what to do. Is it ok to drop the house and re-rush or does that look bad?
#2by: Depends
It depends. If you are dropping a higher tier house to go for a lower one, they might actually like you once you realize that its superficial and that you tell the new one that is lower tier that you appreciate them for not being superficial. However they might be suspicious at first about the reason you dropped a top tier house so you have to convince them.
If you are dropping a lower tier house though and vying for a higher tier one, then you might look like a social climber. Or the potential new houses might think that you are an ethical person who wont allow yourself to be initiated into a brotherhood where you genuinely dont see yourself as fitting and that you are authentic.
The reality is that there is no way of knowing what other houses will think as each house (and each person is different.) The most important thing is to do what you feel is authentic for you. You should absolutely not stay in a house where you feel like you are unwelcome or whose moral values you find are in direct contradictions with your own.
