i am a kappa and i am an extremely offended

I am proud member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and I am very hurt and extremely offended (admittedly much more than I originally thought that I would be) with all the hatred and vitriol thrown our way. We are not all shallow rich girls. Yes, there are certainly girls like that in my house. But, please remember that there are 400 plus girls in this house.
Am I shallow? Nope, I like philosophy and think about the meaning of life every day in terms of how to make the most of every day of my life before I die. Am I rich? No, I am upper middle class but not at all super rich like people who own their own yacht. Am I pretty? I think I am realistically above average but certainly not stunning like most of my sisters. Am I blonde? Nope, I am a brunette. Am I tall? No I am average height at about 5' 8.
I genuinely hope that anyone who wants to really know Kappa actually take the time to meet us. I am not saying to stalk us or anything but if one of us is in one of your classes and is participating in an intellectual class discussion, please tune in and listen to what the Kappa has to say. There is a more than 50 percent chance that you will hear something intelligent coming out out of her mouth than just talk about shopping sprees and yacht trips.

Love ya Kappa, NOT! Honestly you guys make it super hard to do anything but hate you! How hard would it be to issue a simple statment that your organization does not support cheating and lying on college applications and that any members that are investigated by the school and found to have lied/cheated etc. will no longer be members of Kappa or DG or APhi or any of the other sad orgnizations that have been hiding under their desk during this college scandal waiting for someone someplace to do something to demonstrate leadership. If there were any doubt that Kappa or any of the other national panhels stood for anything other than money then this scandal has brilliantly shown these organizations for what they are! Not one national panhel has spoken out about the scandal and the overall national panhel has been radio silent as well as far as I can tell. The local pictures of the press in Ohio trying to track down Kappa mangement for a comment last week were priceless. The stupid people (all women BTW) hung their heads in shame and covered their faces as they ran in the back door. This of course just made them look guilty and as if they were hiding (which they were by all accounts). Pretty pathetic commentary on Kappa that they can't even publicly say that cheating and lying are unacceptable behaviors! Souless organizations strictly focused on money and power. Pathetic.

Dude that is such a load of hot garbage. I’m sure you are offended bc you guys look really bad and image is your thing. But the thing is, everyone else has been noticing how you treat people for years, and it’s not pretty. Don’t think it’s a coincidence that out of all the girls in this scandal at all the schools (not just Usc) almost all were in kappa. Your org is rotten to the core.

As a member of the Greek community and a part of one of these organizations this is highly offensive. Sororities at USC make it their goal to give women a place to feel comfortable as well as better the community. Comparing specific houses to characters from a movie about bullying is absurd and beyond inaccurate. Making the claim that sororities are cliques is demeaning the sisterhood and values they are founded on. This clearly is a stab at a community on campus that does nothing but support the rest of the student body.
