usc = university of suckers and cheats
by: timDark day when the administration chooses to not expel any student involved in the scandal. President is out of touch and Board is doing zero. Value of degrees from here went to zero today. Pathetic management of a crisis.

If they don’t expel every single one of those liars and cheaters, it’s a slap in the face to everyone who earned admission honestly. It also devalues every single one of your degrees when you graduate. If they don’t expel them all, people will only know USC as a pay to play organization. Potential employers will laugh when they see your USC degree!!!!

I agree with OP. SC looks like its full of suckers and scammers and that anyone with money can get in. The press is having a field day and the picture of one of the main characters in this charade on the yacht of our COB didn't do us any favors yesterday in the press. Who is managing this process? I don't have much confidence that right will prevail when all anyone seems to care about is money and greed rules the day. Today going to class two reporters tried to interview us going into the library. We didn't answer but one shouted "how does it feel to go to a school where your degree is worthless". I know they did this to get a rise out of us but its hard to disagree with the underlying premise of their statement. I'm just so sad that nothing seems to be happening and that our school doesn't stand for anything other than money. Its a super hollow feeling.

No, for current students they are, "...evaluating things on a case by case basis...''. I think this sounds like code for we are doing nothing now and will wait to see if we get sued. The stronger statement was made for any incoming students affiliated with the scandal which seemed totally lame as well. I really wonder if our administrators have any moral compass or if they have been in LA too long and lost the ability to know right from wrong? I read the press release twice to see if anything was being said and it was totally lawyered up language.
