... just how intense do people get?

I wanted to ask (not that I think I'll get any straightforward answers here), but do people tend to discriminate/be rude to you based on the house you're in? Especially if you join a "lower tier" house?

I think guys are more stuck up about it. They literally won't talk to you if you are in a bad sorority

so true, i remember before i rushed and said i wasnt in a house guys would literally walk away and now that im in a "top house" the same guys try to talk to me. it's sad

if you're hot and chill guys don't care. ofc, normally guys in top tier frats are normally out of the leagues of girls in bottom tier sororities...

Well what can you expect if the hugely competitive membership of top tier houses is based on superficial things? Makes for an insecure bunch of people. Go with the house you feel is the best fit for you not what snobby people think of it. They in shallow end of the pool.
