thoughts on agd?

Thoughts? Why do so many people drop rush when they get AGD?

Bad rep, low self esteem and subsequently low standards

It may also be because agd is newer on the row compared to the other houses

that was probably the case years ago, but i don’t think that’s it anymore because 5-6 years is enough time for a chapter to get on its feet. they honestly weren’t doing too bad a few years ago, obviously not top house but they were doing okay. idk what got messed up within the house as the years went by but their numbers have seriously tanked and they’re really struggling with recruitment, especially last semester when they only got 3 girls on bid day

I think its mostly their reputation (or lack of one). Bot many people know who they are, and it’s always unattractive to join a house that’s visibly struggling

Crazy to think that they used to be above AXO, and mixed with a lot of frats a few years ago. Over time, they just got beat pc’s that dont go out much

give 'em a chance. So many people want to be a part of Greek life and its in everyones best interest to expand the number of choices and strengthen the system. If we want to be like 3-4 exclusive houses and exclude everyone else then the whole greek system becomes discounted and irrelevent

If they want any hope of moving up, they need to socialize more and make a name for themselves. Cuz they’re currently perceived as anti social
