No. Plain and simple. Sororities dont care for you if you cant offer them anything. If youre not rich, you wont get a bid. Greek life is mainly for connections and networking so you'd be useless to them. Some people may say its effed up, but its smart to surround yourself with people who are at the same level, if not better, in regards to how much theyre worth.

^^^ agreed, especially with deferred rush and people already getting into friend groups before rush even begins.... solidifies the fact that connections matter

Yes all that matters is how deep your daddies pockets are, your trust fund and sometimes your looks (because all the core 4/5 took some really scary looking people the last two rounds.)

if you're not extremely wealthy, funding the school, or funding the sorority, it's almost impossible to get a bid!
