by: USCSororityPositivityPlease do not believe any of the hateful, petty drama on this site. Every single sorority at USC has smart and fun women and the rankings are honestly stupid. Yes, every house has reputations that vary in how accurate they are, and it's good to know what people will associate you with. However, I rushed this semester and the biggest takeaway I had was that every house has so many cool women! I love my house but could've been happy in many others. YOUR HOUSE AND WHAT PEOPLE SAY ABOUT IT IS NOT A MEASURE OF YOUR WORTH AS A HUMAN, THE HOUSES YOU GET DROPPED FROM/ CALLED BACK TO IS NOT A MEASURE OF YOUR WORTH. If you love the girls you meet in a house during rush, that is the one and only thing that matters, because at the end of the day rankings get you nothing tangible, the thing that matters is the reason sororities exist- friendship, support, and sisterhood.

Most accurate “ranking” on this site. I know it’s entertaining to get caught up in stupid drama that PRETTY MUCH only exists on this site, but don’t let it keep you from joining a house that you like. I was pleasantly surprised at all of the houses I rushed at. None of them were as bad as they’re made out to be on greekrank. Guarantee that you’ll find some girls to love at any house.

Sororities judge girls on traditional bases of attractiveness and the sorority rankings reflect that. It's pretty outdated, but that's how it is. I dont think the girls do it consciously. Read the APhi U Mich pdf to get a good picture of how it works.

it really depends on the house. Some might tend to go for status/ “attractiveness” while others are more values/ personality based.

So true!! Also no one in usc greek life actually gets caught up in “rankings” like people do on this site. The only people that care are the 4 sad people who always post negative stuff because they have nothing better to do...
