Does USC have more of a typical college Greek oriented social scene or more clubbing?

If you can't go Lambda, you should remain a GDI. You'll have the same social experience.

Most clubs are in Hollywood area so it is a little bit away from campus. There are some good bars downtown which is closer but most of the party life is on the Row with some pay-to-enter parties off row. The 901, the only bar within walking distance from campus, is also a very popular spot on non-party days.
