This is true, there were only 3 girls they got thru formal. panhellenic got complaints from them about their algorithm not working correctly, bc all the other houses got way bigger pcs and AGD isn't really below AXO (who had an almost full pc)

It's true my mom showed me a post from a AGD parent. Rush really hurt their house this fall and the mom said "the girls are really sad." And that "only time will tell how damaging the new rush structure is on their house." AGD and AXO were calling and texting girls that dropped out to Jon their house "at anytime."

If this is the case, that AGD got a low number of girls, this was a mistake made by the NPC computer system which tells each sorority how many women to release based on their return figures. This is a very bad situation and really not the fault of AGD. As a Greek community let’s put down our pettiness and help AGD by lifting them up and if we see or know women that dropped or did not go through recruitment, say a kind word about AGD and encourage them to go Greek and give AGD a try. It will only make the Greek community stronger.

NPC sets the carry forward figures for each chapter based on historical recruitment information. These carry forward figures tell each chapter how many women to release and how many to keep. Ie. if a chapter has a very high return rate, they release more PNMs. If a chapter has a lower return rate they release fewer or none. This is done to help ensure all chapters make quota. It is pretty evident to me, that if they only got 3 women, they were told to release more than they should have even taking into consideration the high drop rate. Just my opinion. Let’s lift up AGD not talk s&$t about them.

A lot of us dropped AGD and the lower tiers, that is the truth. I was called and sent a text by them and another sorority to join at any time. It's not a computer error, girls did not want to be associated with the bottom tier. 600 or more girls went through and over half did not go to any house.

You can think what you want but those of us that know the National Panhellenic Bid Matching System know that this did not happen only because of girls dropping the “lower tier” groups. I am sure it played a part in the outcome but the large discrepancy between AGD and the other houses could not have occurred without a computer generated return figure error. Absolutely no doubt in my mind.

To "Real Talk," I attended another large so cal university in the early eighties... there was a chapter on campus that was known for having a strong sisterhood, but they were not all "the hot girls"...Still, this chapter became popular with PNMS (rushees as they were called) because of their strong sisterhood. That house is now one of the most popular houses on campus. (UCSB if you must know, figure out the rest!) The character of any sorority will change over time; with your attitude, you may be cheating yourself out of an amazing sisterhood!

What a double standard. "Sorority sisters" judged me and 600 other girls for a week, mostly be appearance. You know it's true. You seem to think you have the right to drop us because we "aren't the right fit." I never said I dropped because of the "tier" of the sorority, I dropped because I didn't like the humiliation of being judged by my peers. You assume I dropped because of the sororities I had left on my card. I never said that. I found the system to be archaic and degrading. You yourself are still judging by assuming I dropped because of the sororities I just listed. Check yourself "sorority sister."

Those houses that you thought you were too good for don’t judge based on appearances. They base it on your character. So to be clear you dropped because the houses that do recruit on appearances cut you therefore you’re not as attractive as you think you are on the outside either.

Yes, you are dense. I am referring to the degrading system of rush. You should quit singing songs and hit the books. You still don't get it. I never said anything negative about the 3 houses I had left. You did. You are the one who keeps defending what you seem to think are the bottom tier houses, not me. I never said they were bottom tier. I dropped because of the system, not because of the houses left.

Why would I back pedal. I don't know you. You are the one who seems concerned about the rank of houses, not me. You must be in one of the three and are super defensive about it. You don't care that a lot of girls have been hurt by this process. All that you care about is defending the rank of your house. I didn't say a word about any of those houses not being worthy. You made yourself perfectly clear with your comment that you were only interested in upper houses. I on the other had said nothing about those houses not being worthy. On the contrary, all the comments in response to yours was that those houses were great before you and will continue to be without you.

Its funny because everyone on the row despises the lower houses, yet they have the most genuine girls and the strongest sisterhoods on campus. If the “top tiers” and stupid frats cant appreciate that, then they can go to hell. I dropped rush because it was too much, but i enjoyed the genuine houses and appreciate their less superficial convos
