rushing a frat while on financial aid

by: Trojans

Asking this again because last time i asked this only jimbo answered: During rush, are there ways which fraternities can find out if you're on financial aid? Does it play a role in if you get a bid or not? I can afford dues and other expenses and don't look poor at all and I have a very high GPA, but I do receive a large financial aid package. Would a fraternity not give a bid to a chill, genuine guy who can afford dues and expenses just because of that person's large financial aid package? I'd appreciate honest answers (jimbo leave).

Some frats do take into consideration your wealth. Some but not all. And they can usually tell by where you are from and how you present yourself. Some houses do look up your address the you provided on the ifc to see how big your house is, but i doubt they check to see if your on financial aid.
