Just about all social life revolves around the Greek system.

Good house = good social life, build close friendships with strong bonds.

Anything below uppermid = Impress beat GDI's, get mediocre friends.

Not really true. Some are higher than others, but you can make great friends regardless of your choice. Just pick one that feels like it's a fit and you will be set.

If you are at USC you've hit the social jackpot, with or without Greek life. As someone who's involved in Greek Life, but also other major social groups, there are many ways to find solid social circles. The typical person in Greek Life has major tunnel vision and is convinced you're irrelevant if you didn't go Greek because, well, they've limited themselves to only other Greeks and literally don't know any social experiences outside of that circle - they actually have never experienced the social life that does indeed exist off the Row. Many, many people find awesome circles outside of the system, but it can be an awesome part of your life should you decide to join.

You wont find those groups as a spring admit or transfer though. By the time you get into the school, everyone is too cliquey to care about you
