deferred rush?

So I’m a prospective junior transfer and I want to rush, but I read online that it’s being pushed back until the spring? Is this still happening and how much will it affect any non freshman’s chances of receiving a bid?

Not looking good for you. No one's gonna want a junior with a year and a half left unless you join DTD or Theta Xi

If you transfer in with over a year of college work on your transcript (like you do) then you can rush in the fall, and it’s really not a big deal at all to houses that you’re older

Transfers and freshman have to complete 1 semester before being able to rush.

This is just incorrect, if the person transferring in has two semesters of college work on their transcript, they’re good to go, talk to someone involved in IFC if you think I’m wrong

Just so you know the majority of posters are losers who were never in a fraternity and more than likely never attend USC. There is a poster who posts under dozens of different names and usually denigrates Lambda Chi but also recently posts over the top praise of Lambda Chi. This person never was in a fraternity and never attended USC, in fact he flunked out of the local JC.
