rushing at 23

Probably won’t do it because of my age but might as well ask. How weird is it for a 23 year old sophomore guy to rush? And would I have any chance of getting a bid from a solid house?

Honestly, I think that is a little bit too old. Cuz by the time you'll be pledging with guys who are freshman. And honestly they're way to immature for you.

Yeah, if you can deal with your frosh pledgebros and the house is cool with it, it's fine. I've seen guys who just got out of the military do it so it's not unheard of.
