legacy

by:

I need some advice while I am gathering recommendations and registering for recruitment. I am a legacy to a sorority, but my relative wasn't a member at USC. Should I leave this information off? I've heard some sororities automatically release after first round other sororities' legacies. I have an open-mind! Thank you.

I hope you don't think this will get you in a top tier house....?

I am just asking if I should list legacy information at all. I don't want a house to release me just because I am a legacy to another house. Should I omit legacy info?

You should be fine including the legacy information. Any house that actually wants you won't cut you for something like that.

no house will drop you because you're legacy with another. if a house wants you, theyre going to want you regardless of your family's affiliation. And it shouldnt affect your decision, becuse ultimately it's your experience and your sorority is going to mean more to you in these 4 years than it will in the years following college, so even if you get to be "sisters" with you mom or whoever that isn't as valuable as being in a place where you feel most comfortable.

Well what sorority are you a legacy to? If its kappa you're DEF gonna want to leave that off for 2 reasons: 1. everyone hates kappa so they'd look poorly upon you and 2. kappa might actually accept you and then you're reaaally screwed because they're bottom tier and falling, somehow.

Kappa's definitely the worst house at USC. For sure, bro. Bottom tier all the way
