how do sororitys find out about wealth?

i always see comments on this board about how all kappa cares about is wealth, but how do they determine the richest girls? do they search up the answers to the questions that they ask on the registration (parents names, address, etc. to find out what your parents do/how much your house is worth) to determine wealth or go more off of what they ask during pnms during rush?

they know eachother beforehand. or they can just simply google their pc's parents

most rich people have similar upbringings, its not hard to tell

It's not hard to tell when the rich ones are wearing chanel purse or other well-known designer's during rush
