frat rush events

So I went to a handful of houses the first two days, and there are a couple houses that I'm interested in. But I've been told to choose one house and go to all of their events.. is suicide rushing the way to go, or should I try to attend as many houses' events as possible to keep my options open? I want to make sure I get a chance to meet as many guys as possible and really make the right decision at the end of the week.. my friends at other schools have said to go to as many houses as possible but I'm not sure how it works at SC
