sophomore rush

by: rev4

hey, i'm a freshman in college who's transferring to usc next year. i was wondering if it's worth it to rush as a sophomore? im an athlete so i decided to not accept a bid this year. i've heard that a lot of sororities drop sophomores and i was just wondering if it would be a good idea or not. thanks!

It's definitely worth rushing. You might as well go through it and try to meet some people. Best of luck!

It's definitely worth it! The houses will take freshman and sophomores equally I would say.

USC sororities recruit and pledge a lot of sophomores and juniors. There isn't a strict sophomore quota like at some schools. I think it's because there are so many spring admits at USC who couldn't rush as freshmen.

I'm also a transfer - can anyone tell me what kinds of girls are in good houses here because I have a feeling it's pretty different than in the south where I'm currently at. I'm originally from the east coast where I feel like it's less selective and I'm wondering if it's the same at USC. Like between looks, personality, and wealth, how important is each factor?
