theta on probation from national

Can anyone confirm whether this rumor is true? I heard today that the letter had been issued by the national and that the chapter might not be able to do recruitment next year? That would have huge consequences! A friend of mine is a Theta at another school and they just got a similar letter and were told national is really cracking down across the country.
