frats question
by: questionDoes anyone here know how selective a house like phi psi is? I know no one at sc so don't wanna waste my time rushing a house that need connections to get a bid. Can anyone recommend any solid houses that doesn't require connections I should check out? thanks

Top houses like Lambda and Phi Psi are gonna be pretty hard to get a bid from. Connections aren't everything so I would still check them out but be realistic. If you don't fit in or it doesn't seem to be going anywhere move on. There are a lot of houses at SC so you're bound to find a good fit. Best of luck.

Top tier fraternities like Lambda Chi and Phi Psi are definately the most selective. If you have connections in the house of course that helps to have an advocate in the fraternity on your behalf but is no guarantee of a bid. That being said the many pledges don't know members of the fraternity prior to rush.

TKE is known to blanket bid so if your parents have thick wallets and even if you learned English as a second language and are unattractive and out of shape, social inept, you can get a bid there.
