statistics from the falls rush
by: InsiderThe stats this year are showing that out of approx 1100 girls rushing 1077 ranked kappa as their number 1 after convo days. Dg and theta were also popular second choices. Last year kappa and dg got the top picks, giving them pretty equal pledge classes. This was controversial because kappa usually gets all the best girls. It looks like kappa might be "sweeping" again.... we will see

You don't rank #1-10. You rank the top choices all as #1 for the amount of parties the next day, then rank for the remaining slots. So from Day 1 (with 10 chapters) to Involvement (8) you pick your top eight, they're all ranked #1, your ninth is #2, your tenth is #3. When you go to Sisterhood (5 houses), you have five #1s, then a #2, #3, #4 from Involvement.
I have no doubt virtually everyone picked Kappa as ONE of their top chapters, but there's no way to know what their #1 was for any house because that's not how the rush program works, even if their #1 house was Kappa. You're either making this up or it's in-house sorority propaganda.
