greek life dying
by: What is happening?I really don't understand what is happening to greek life at USC?? All the new rules being put in place to prevent us from having a good time is ruining greek life. I mean no hard alcohol at a frat party??? No guests allowed upstairs until 8 am the next morning?? a security guard for every 50 expected guests. I don't understand why guys in the fraternity can get in trouble for sneaking people who are on the list in the party? The parties are beginning to feel more like middle school dances versus college frat parties. Why is USC greek life becoming so politically correct? What happened to the good old days where frat boys could burn couches and dance on platforms about to break. What happened to the traditional frat experience? Is that nowhere to be found at USC anymore? Lastly why doesn't any frats stand up to IFC I mean if we all just protest they can't put all of the frats on probation. Please somebody explain what is happening? Is there any movement of people trying to make things better again??

I remember when we used to sun tan on a rickety deck that could have collapsed at any moment, danced drunk on the roof-o and spent most of the day walking around wearing nothing but a ratty old blanket while drinking all day at the nine-o. Why can't we bring back those good old days?
