this question get's old really fast. Why don't you RUSH and see for yourself? If you were hot/ and or rich you wouldn't be worrying about getting into a top house.

I would wait until junior year, your probability of getting a house you want goes up considerably

It doesn't matter what year you are. What matters whether or not the active members like you and see you as one who can fit into the chapter.
