Alpha Chi Omega - ΑΧΩ Sorority at University of Southern California - USC 1.0 The recent developments within the AXO have raised serious concerns, particularly regarding the election of their executive board. Unfortunately, the current board, which was declared ineligible for the election due to certain procedural issues, was still placed in leadership roles. This has led to significant unrest among the membership, as it suggests a lack of transparency and adherence to the organization's rules and values

Alpha Chi Omega - ΑΧΩ Sorority at University of Southern California - USC 4.5 I genuinely cannot say enough good things about this house especially with the new incoming e board. If you want actual sisterhood and girls who care about their philanthropy AXO is the best house. They may have had some scandals in the past but the new board is working sooo hard and I've never seen the house go in more of a positive direction (and I rushed over 3 years ago). A lot of the girls this year are actually super social and they are all super involved in other activities across campus. I feel like AXO has lowk turned into a really cool house with girls who didn't see themselves as 'sorority girls.' They all have so many passions and are legit interesting to talk to. Some of the strongest sisterhood I've seen on the row because everyone makes an effort to get to know each other and be friends.

Alpha Chi Omega - ΑΧΩ Sorority at University of Southern California - USC 1.0 The problem with AXO is that it is run by an exec board who is coping with the fact that they are in a "bottom" house. By being on exec, these power-hungry members can delude themselves into believing they are in a "top" as they exert power over regular members. It is worrisome that the president of the house said that AXO members should sleep with guys in "top" frats to improve their ranking. Frankly, who gives a -- about these arbitrary rankings, which are rooted in superficiality and sexism? AXO should devote more attention to their philanthropy and retaining members than this ranking and hazing nonsense. Even if AXO has always been "bottom," this house used to attract genuine and passionate women from diverse backgrounds, who wanted to find a diverse community within a typically white Greek life culture. It's sad that this is no longer the case.

Alpha Chi Omega - ΑΧΩ Sorority at University of Southern California - USC 1.0 To those considering joining or currently involved in Greek life, let this be a lesson. Tradition is important, but not when it comes at the expense of safety, dignity, and mutual respect. Hazing has no place in any organization, and it’s heartbreaking to see the downfall of what could have been a lifelong sisterhood

Alpha Chi Omega - ΑΧΩ Sorority at University of Southern California - USC 1.0 This sorority is run more like a dictatorship than a sisterhood. The executive board holds all the power and uses it to bully and ridicule members, rather than fostering a supportive community. There are serious concerns about how money is handled, with accusations of embezzlement that leave members feeling exploited. Instead of feeling valued, many of us feel like second-class citizens with no voice.

Alpha Chi Omega - ΑΧΩ Sorority at University of Southern California - USC 1.0 During recruitment, they write fake names on the room whiteboards to make the house appear full. And their event calendar is also filled with fake events to make them appear relevant to PNMs. It is appalling that shame does not exist for these grown women, who should be focusing more on promoting their meaningful philanthropy. Also, they do not care if a family member gets ill during recruitment or if you contract Covid. They will fine you an obscene amount of money if you miss even a day of recruitment, despite these VALID reasons. You could die during recruitment, and they’d probably be like, rip and then send the fine amounts to your grieving parents. 🤣 This organization is shamelessly driven by greed. Soon, AXO will be disbanded and forgotten and will just be another nice housing option for transfers. I give it 2-3 years tops.

Alpha Chi Omega - ΑΧΩ Sorority at University of Southern California - USC 1.0 As someone who has witnessed the recent developments within AXO, it’s disheartening to see what could have been a positive sisterhood on the verge of closure due to ongoing issues with hazing. Joining a sorority should be about building friendships, fostering leadership, and giving back to the community, but unfortunately, the culture within AXO has strayed far from these ideals.
