I’ve really found community at AXO! This is a house filled with down to Earth, mindful, and adventurous girls. There’s always someone to go do Pilates with, down to see an Improv show, or take a spontaneous trip with.

AXO boasts a remarkable low of 75 members. This is a dismal number compared to the rest of the sororities on the row, and with the seniors graduating, they will soon have 50 members left (unless they have a huge Spring 2025 PC), which merits the closure. Extremely expensive with no payoff in friendships or networking. AVOID!!!

It’s disappointing to see what has happened with this once well-established sorority. A quick glance at their social media confirms that membership is at an all-time low, with only about 15 active members. It’s obvious that they’re struggling, especially since there seems to be no budget for events or even basic decorations. This is a far cry from what this chapter used to be, given its longstanding history on the row. It’s disheartening to witness an organization that was once a vibrant part of the community lose its footing and prestige. Hopefully, they can find a way to rebuild, but as of now, it’s clear that they’ve drifted far from their former glory.

While reflecting upon my time in axo, these girls became an unexpected family to me. At first I was worried about joining due to all the rumors and gossip surrounding the house but I wanted to give them a fair chance. After running to this house on bid day, I’ve come to learn how amazing, kind, and beautiful all these girls are. I couldn’t have asked for better friends who have become my sisters. I am thankful that I listened to my heart and met these girls. I don’t know where I would be without them and I’m glad that I won’t have to find out.

One of the most remarkable aspects of AXO is their dedication to personal growth and leadership development. The women here are involved in a wide range of campus activities, from student government to philanthropy to music. This house isn’t ever ashamed of anyone, and they proudly call each other sisters. The house itself is gorgeous. It was recently renovated, and the bedrooms have huge closets. Every room is absolutely gorgeous. It feels like a home and it tells the story of every girl who has ever been in the house. The social life within AXO is vibrant and inclusive, with events and traditions that foster lifelong memories and connections. Whether it’s the weekly sisterhood events, a themed mixer, or just a casual study session, the bonds formed within AXO are genuine and strong. Girls stay in the house because they love it. Academically, these girls continue to set high standards and they are consistently supporting one another in their pursuits. The chapter’s emphasis on balancing academics, leadership, and personal growth creates a unique environment. There are optional weekly workshops on topics such as personal finance and the alumni regularly come by to offer advice. AXO is a shining example of what a sorority can and should be—supportive, empowering, and dedicated to making a difference both within the university and in the broader community. Joining AXO means becoming part of a legacy of strong, inspiring women who uplift each other every step of the way.

While I was initially hesitant about Greek life in general, I found my home at AXO! These girls have had my back and looked out for me even before I joined. I’ve thrived in this house and have learned to love myself more and more everyday due to the amazing support network. I would not have been nearly as social as I am now without them. There is always someone here to help you with make up, school, or to just watch your favorite shows with. I’ve truly met my bridesmaids here!

While some members may present themselves as friendly during recruitment, the reality is that the friendships within the sorority often feel shallow. There’s a lot of gossiping and clique behavior, making it difficult to form genuine, supportive bonds. Instead of building each other up, there’s a tendency to be competitive in unhealthy ways

This is a great house! The girls are sweet and genuine. They are cute, hardworking, smart, and love to hang out. The girls love to have fun but are not too crazy. If you are going through rush you need to trust the process not what you read on this. There is clearly some disgruntled weirdo who has issues posting negative things about AXO.
