Thank you AXO for teaching me to discover myself! From the internal clubs to the house choir, I love all the opportunities to explore new passions here. The girls are awesome, and the staff are flat out incredible. They all really make the house feel like home.

It’s very easy to tell these negative reviews are all the same person using a private browser to instantly upvote their own posts. ——————— To the woman writing these reviews, I respect your opinions. I understand it is frustrating when you feel you have been wronged and when your voice isn’t listened to. However, I don’t respect the cyber bullying and harassment you are placing upon these girls, many of whom you claim to respect/care for. No house is perfect, just as no person is, but there are still plenty of AXOs who graduate each year knowing the sorority has been a fantastic, integral part of their college experience. I hope you can move on in peace, and find a place where you feel your needs can be 100% fulfilled.

Here are a few fun facts you should know if you're thinking about joining this house: 1. They’ll probably ask you to fund things yourself. Hope you enjoy sponsoring their questionable activities! 2. If you’re on the exec board, congrats! You’ve unlocked the “rules don’t apply to me” VIP package, with zero accountability. 3. The house? Filthy. Like, "I-think-the-dust- bunnies-are-organizing& quot; kind of dirty. 4. The elections? Absolutely rigged. You have better odds at winning a scratch-off ticket. 5. Sisterhood events? Ha! More like a mirage — you’ll never see one. 6. Oh, and get ready to work like a slave while the exec board takes all the credit. 7. And the food? You get two meals a day — prison food probably has a higher Yelp rating!

Spend two minutes on their IG page, and you’ll get the gist. Spoiler: it’s the same five girls in every single post. Now, let’s take a second to wonder—do they only have five members, or are the others so bad they can’t even make the cut for the feed? And sure, they might have a new board, but it’s the same old nonsense. Plus, their events? Cheap. Like, "bring your own snack" cheap. Honestly, it’s like they're trying to run a sorority on a dollar store budget.

If you’re preparing to enter recruitment, I strongly encourage you to do thorough research on each house. Take time to check their social media presence, read reviews, and form your own opinion based on what you find. Ultimately, trust your instincts. Be cautious of any house that appears to be run by a manipulative executive board that treats others poorly. To avoid falling into a negative environment, make sure you do your homework and stay true to what feels right for you.

When I rushed as a freshman I had no clue I was going to end up in AXO. Now as a senior about to graduate I can confidantly say that joining was the best choice I ever made. My time in AXO has shaped me into a strong, confident woman who is ready to step into the real world postgrad. The alumni connections in this house are some of the best on the row, and I managed to get my dream job through the AXO network. These girls are so genuine and supportive, I really feel like I have found my sisters for life. AXO girls choose their friends based on personality, not just how they will look on an Instagram feed, and as a result they are all extremely close. Everyone knows everyone in the house and I have felt so welcomed since day one. When I joined I wasn’t sure if AXO’s ‘smart’ reputation meant that they didn’t have fun or go out. However that is maybe the opposite of true. AXO girls can do it all — dirty rush party on a Monday, 8am class on a Tuesday, and 90-Wednesday the day after. Ive had so much fun here with all my sisters and could get into all of the crazy stuff we’ve done but it would definitely take too long. However my biggest advice I could give you is to JOIN AXO!!!! You will be joining at the perfect time with a new exec board who is so cool and excited for the year ahead. This is not a scary or intense house at all. Both the new President and new VP Standards are so chill and love going out but also are SO smart. I am so excited for my final semester in AXO and I can’t imagine what I’m going to do without it.

Seriously, AXO, do you need your mom to write your reviews? This house is the worst. The girls are rude, mean, and don't care about sisterhood at all.

To all the parents out there reading this before your daughters go through rush in a few weeks please know AXO is a wonderful house. There is some person out there who is making up all of this ridiculous stuff. This cyber bullying needs to stop and I wish USC Panhellenic would step in and clear this up. AXO is a group of classy young ladies and I am proud of my daughter who is a member. She LOVES her sisters and everything about this house.

I entered recruitment full of excitement, imagining I’d find a home and meet my best friends — like something out of a movie, a fairytale come to life. But instead, I walked into a nightmare. Bullying, backstabbing, and feeling like a second-class citizen in a house that was crumbling, both physically and emotionally. No events, no sisterhood, just a desperate attempt to stay afloat. The best decision I ever made was walking away from it all. The dream turned out to be a nightmare, and leaving was the only way to wake up.
