what is the process of dropping from your chapter?

by: newmember

I don't like my sorority very much, and I don't feel like any of the connections I've made are very genuine. I feel like a lot of the actives (girls from previous pledge classes, as I have already pledged) act very patronizing towards me even though I am older than a lot of them and have been at UBC for longer. I don't really feel my sorority is worth the money or time it charges. Also, the execs of the chapter really aren't very understanding that I need to work a lot and that I can't be super dedicated to the chapter. Also I just find it dumb in general. What is the process for dropping out?

If you are set on dropping talk to your chapter advisor or chapter president, don't post negative things online. Greek life isn't for anyone, and they will likely be understanding.
