dropping my sorority
by: BsjahMy sorority is incredibly cliquey and I feel like they put zero effort to include me in anything. I've reached out to girls continuously as well. All my sorority does is go out and drink. I have no idea what I can do to improve my situation or if I should just drop. Does anyone have any advice?

It's okay to feel that way and to feel that it's not right for you - Greek life is not for everyone, ESPECIALLY if you ended up in the wrong sorority. There's a lot of pressure to fit in to your sorority and absolutely love everything/everyone but at the end of the day it is a huge time and financial commitment. If you're truly not happy, then you need to do what's right for you. There are so many other ways to get involved at UBC, and you'll find the right place where people are more inclusive and kind. If you're set on staying, then talk to someone about how you're feeling - your big or your president maybe? But again, if it's not right it's not right, there's so much going on outside the Greek system that you don't have to pay $1300 a year to be part of.
