COB isn't necessarily based on retention rate. Panhel requires chapters to fill in the spots of girls that go on exchange or girls that graduate in the fall. Most chapters do COB - some do it through Panhel and others have their own event. You'll find out more in second semester

Like the person above me said, lots of my friends are going on exchange next semester so our chapter will have to do COB. But those girls are still going to be coming back in the fall after their exchange.

around 10 or so dropped from gpb, so they will probably have to cob although they might not do through panhel

How do you get an invite for the invite-only events? I don't know many girls in sororities, but I'm still interested in joining.
