what's wrong with aphis?

What's wrong with Aphis? I don't understand the reason why they are so disliked or unpopular.... there's people leaving (graduating) and coming in (recruitment) every year, so there's always new people each year... so I don't understand why they seem to be disliked for so long. What's their reputation? Do they party a lot? Please give me a reason.
