exclusion during bids day

I really liked the sorority I got accepted too and everyone is nice. However, I don't feel like many of the girls were actively trying to include me in their groups. It felt more like they were interested in a select few and kind of just stuck to their cliques. I made the initiative to talk to everyone but no one really made me feel included. Any advice as to whether girls generally try to make friends with the pledges or do they just stick to their current cliques?
