"bottom tier" and ranking sororities

by:

I see a lot of stuff on this website calling certain sororities "bottom tier" or "top tier" or whatever. But at the end of the day, what does that even mean? What makes a sorority bottom or middle or top tier, and why should girls be made to feel bad if a sorority they liked is somehow arbitrarily "lower" on a ranking system?
I'm partially curious as to how people already in the greek system define this, and frustrated that it even happens in the first place. I've met amazing girls in every sorority so far going through recruitment.

don't worry about rankings or idiots who believe in it....you are on the right path if you stick to being non judgemental

choose whatever chapter you want for your own reasons, and don't ever apologize for it

happy recruitment

My sorority often times get called "bottom tier" but my sisters are beautiful inside and out, and the people who actually believe in a tier system (mostly losers on this website) are honestly not worth any thought. It's about where you see yourself fitting in and not having to change for. All the sororities at the end of the day offer the same opportunities, it's what you do with them.

Mine apparently is "top tier" but op is so right. At the end of the day, in the real world we all be judged equally as sorority women. Employers don't care if you were ADPI or AGD. To them it's irrelevant. Ppl who care about rankings in the greek system are just insecure and look to such superficial stuff for validation. Don't be like them pnm, change the future of the greek system for the better!
