upper year rush

A lot of the upper years i talked to were invited to one of their top choices (such as DG, theta and kkg) and two of their bottom choices. Do sororities such as gphi and adpi generally invite back first years, or do they invite upper years as well?

No they invited back upper years as well.

Sororities prefer first and second year girls because they stay longer. Your year probably did effect which sororities you got invited back to.
