by: NewbieIm coming to UBC in the fall and im confused how rush works. Do I need to sign up in advanced or can I just show up? Also how does it work, is it 2 days 4? and what do you do on the days?

To rush a sorority, keep checking the UBC sororities page and their Facebook page. Registration will begin I'm guessing around August. You MUST register to rush in the fall! Rush is around a week long but you only attend 3 rounds: tours, invitationals and preference. Just register first and they will explain how the process works after :) good luck and I hope you find your new family <3

Don't worry, it's super straight forward! You'll probably also get a brochure in the mail before classes start. Registration costs about $30 (you'll be provided with food and snacks!!), and you do it online. The deadline last year was after classes started, so you're not going to miss it. Last year there was also a ubc sororities tent on imagine day. If it's there again, you should go visit them. I had a lot of fun talking to the girls there and felt more comfortable with the whole rush process.
